Sauf que personne n&#8217;en veut, et les Muppets se s\u00e9parent : Kermit se fait une nouvelle amie, Jenny, et rend jalouse la pauvre Peggy. Rowlf devient secr\u00e9taire chez un v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, Fozzie s&#8217;installe dans une cave, et Peggy ne peut s&#8217;emp\u00eacher de surveiller de pr\u00e8s son Kermit tout en continuant \u00e0 travailler sur le spectacle. Enfin, un jeune producteur se d\u00e9cide \u00e0 financer leur show; le gang des Muppets est en route pour Manhattan lorsque Kermit se fait renverser par une voiture.
